Founded in 1820 in Canelli, in the heart of Italian Piedmont, Tosti1820 is a historic house specializing in the production of sparkling wines and vermouths. For seven generations, the family business has perpetuated know-how combining tradition and innovation, by selecting the best Italian terroirs and grape varieties. Recognized for its expertise in sparkling wines, Tosti1820 offers a diverse range of iconic vintages, including its Asti DOCG made exclusively from Moscato Bianco di Canelli grapes and embodying the great tradition of sweet sparkling wines from Piedmont, reinterpreted in a modern and elegant style. The grapes, harvested manually in the best vineyards around Canelli, are carefully vinified before slowly maturing in steel vats, allowing all the aromatic richness of the grape variety to be preserved. With its low alcohol content (7% vol.) and its natural freshness, this vintage fully expresses the historical know-how of the Tosti1820 house and the authenticity of its terroir.

Tasting

The bright straw yellow color is enlivened by fine, regular and persistent perlage. The intensely aromatic nose reveals delicate floral and fruity notes characteristic of Moscato Bianco. On the palate, the sweetness, freshness and acidity balance harmoniously, offering a light texture and a beautiful liveliness. The finish, long and elegant, lets the natural aromas of the grape express themselves, providing a gourmet and refined sensation. Served between 4 and 6°C, it is ideal with desserts, dry pastries, fresh fruit, ice cream, but can also surprise throughout a convivial meal.
