Comment

Mas de Farjou is an emblematic wine estate in Pic-Saint-Loup, located at the foot of the Causse de l’Orthus, in Hérault. A former stately farm dating from the 16th century, it is closely linked to the Jean family, of which Louis Jean was one of the founders of the Pic-Saint-Loup cru in 1955. The estate has long lived from vines, olive trees and the cultivation of mulberry trees for the breeding of silkworms, before devoting itself mainly to viticulture. Today, its vines extend over different limestone terroirs offering freshness and complexity to the wines produced in AOP Languedoc and Pic-Saint-Loup. Mas de Farjou combines ancestral traditions and modern winemaking techniques, in an environmentally friendly approach rewarded with High Environmental Value certification since 2020. This family heritage fully embodies the authenticity and identity of the Languedoc vineyard.
