Boasting a temperate climate and a rich history, Bordeaux has prospered for several centuries as a wine region renowned worldwide for its exceptional red and white wines. Bordeaux wines are traditionally blended wines from the region's majority grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. The Bordeaux and Bordeaux Supérieur appellations are regional appellations both applying to all wines coming from vineyards in the Gironde department, which covers an area of ​​48,795 ha. Our special selection “Le Piquard” is the ambassador par excellence of our Bordeaux and Bordeaux Supérieures, perfectly reflecting our Girondin style. Our ambition was to create a simple, honest red Bordeaux characteristic of its appellation, and it is a success! Today, our "Piquard" has won its place and exceeded all our expectations.

Tasting

This wine has a beautiful garnet color with reflections of a beautiful bright red. The entire balance of the wine is based on very pleasant notes of red fruits. The tannin structure does not seem too thick, it reveals a supple and fruity wine. Ideal with red meat, game and cheese. Serve around 16.17°C.
