The Cava of Barcelona was developed, from the 19th century, on the lands of Frexeneda, the "ash", a large family property, bathed in sun and bordered by ashs and oaks. You can taste the Cava in the shade of the trees, having lunch with friends, or during hot and long summer evenings. A single bubble was born. And a name: Freixenet. This is the beginning of a success. The Barcelona Cava is quickly exported worldwide. And the traditional family business gives birth to the 1st world group producer of effervescent wine.

Tasting

A classic Cava elaborated in equal parts of Macabeo, Xarello and Parellada, typical of the Penedès region. Light yellow dress with golden reflections. The average bubbles form a beautiful crown. Fresh and pleasant nose, elegantly floral, with notes of fresh apple and subtle citrus impressions. Well structured and refreshing mouth, with beautifully balanced acidity and a very pleasant floral finish. The dosage liqueur is made from the same assembly of grape varieties and matures for 12 months in oak barrels.
