Essence de Dourthe is from the prestigious Dourthe castles: Belgrave, La Garde, Le Boscq and Grand Barrail Lamarzelle Figeac. Only fourteen hectares of vine have been selected, the largest terroirs of Merlot, Cabernet-Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. A limit of expression without limit for the Dourthe teams, which give free rein to all their passion and their talent in this remarkable creation.

Tasting

The dress is incredibly dense, deep, with purple reflections. The intense and complex nose evokes the black and fresh black berries, harmoniously associated with spicy notes. Very suave and tasty as soon as the attack, the mouth quickly evolves in remarkable magnitude and power. The fullness of its dense and silky flesh impresses while its long frame, coated with persistent aromas of black cherries, blackcurrants and delicate notes of sweet spices, extends in a finish of rare length and race. A very large wine, exceptional by its balance, its finesse and its length.
