Coming from the vineyards of the Fabre-Grimaldi family, La Maura finds its origins in the heart of the Massif des Maures between sea and mountains, on a clay-limestone terroir with a gentle stony slope. The Fabre family vineyard in Provence is part of a long wine-growing tradition, particularly around estates such as Château de l'Aumérade, acquired in 1932 and classified as a Côtes de Provence "Cru Classé" in 1955. Extending over several hundred hectares in the Var, it benefits from a clay-limestone terroir and a Mediterranean climate conducive to the production of renowned wines, particularly rosés. Even today, the family perpetuates this know-how by developing vintages mainly from the terroirs of Pierrefeu-du-Var, while maintaining a strong family and historical roots.

Tasting

A pale dress, both simple and surprising. Straight and balanced, it is adaptable and versatile. The nose reveals light notes of coffee. In the mouth, the freshness is very present, supported by a beautiful substance. Ideal as an aperitif or with tapas, cured meats, summer salads.
