Comment

Founded in 1838 in Aÿ by William Deutz and Pierre-Hubert Geldermann, two merchants of Prussian origin, the Deutz house is distinguished by the alliance of its Germanic roots and its historical roots in Champagne. Remaining independent, she cultivates a demanding vision of her profession, based on the precision of blends, the rigorous selection of vintages and respect for the identity of each terroir. Located in the heart of Aÿ, a village classified as Grand Cru, it benefits from a remarkable wine-growing heritage and historic cellars dug into the chalk, where the wines age slowly. This patience and rigor are found in his style, which favors the freshness of the fruit, the finesse of the textures and the harmony of the aromas. A form of Germanic precision at the service of Champagne elegance, where technical mastery leaves room for the expression of the terroir and freedom of creation.

Tasting

Sustained, luminous gold color, enlivened by fine and persistent beading. The nose reveals notes of white flowers and hawthorn, accompanied by aromas of toast, almond paste, apple and pear, with a touch of fresh hazelnut. On the palate, the attack is fresh and elegant, carried by a silky texture. The Chardonnay brings liveliness, the Pinot Noir structure and the Pinot Meunier roundness, for a harmonious and balanced whole. The finish, persistent and fruity, ends with a beautiful impression of finesse and freshness.
