Comment

The name of this wine refers to the place called Millepied in Saint-Vivien-de-Blaye, in the heart of the Blayais, where Jean-Louis and Ghislaine Compain, 76, run their 11 hectare vineyards, family property for 3 generations, brilliantly resisting the difficulties encountered by many other winegrowers in the region. The vineyards of about thirty years flourish on clashy-sablons-limestone soils. The wines are produced in Côtes de Bourg, Blaye Côte de Bordeaux and Bordeaux Rouge.

Tasting

This traditional assembly of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon makes it an elegant, powerful and refined wine, which will wonderfully accompany a meal, especially grills and meats in sauce.
