Comment

Near the famous medieval city of Saint-Émilion, Château Langlade is located in the town of Montagne. This property has belonged to the Coudroy family for over 150 years. Today, Nathalie and Emmanuel manage it, cultivating a 19 hectare vineyard in one piece, ideally exposed on hillsides with clay-limestone terroir. Combining respect for traditions and modernity, they implement ancestral methods of viticulture while relying on contemporary winemaking equipment. The objective: to best extract the richness of the fruit and the complexity of the aromas. Thermoregulation, in particular, makes it possible to perfectly control the fermentations.

Tasting

To the eye, the dress is deep purple with purplish reflections. The nose, typical of Merlot, reveals attractive aromas of red and black fruits, such as blackcurrant and blueberry. Its aromatic palette, of great complexity, also reveals subtle notes of leather and spices. On the palate, the wine seduces with its elegance and the balance of its tannins, both present and silky. He will accompany game dishes as well, such as deer, as well as a roasted lamb or other red and white meats.
