Comment

Near the famous medieval city of Saint-Émilion, Château Langlade is located in the commune of Montagne. This property has belonged to the Coudroy family for over 150 years. Today, Nathalie and Emmanuel manage it, cultivating a 19-hectare vineyard in one piece, ideally exposed on hillsides with clay-limestone soil. Combining respect for traditions and modernity, they implement ancestral viticulture methods while relying on contemporary winemaking equipment. The objective: to best extract the richness of the fruit and the complexity of the aromas. Thermoregulation, in particular, allows fermentation to be perfectly controlled.

Tasting

To the eye, the color is a deep purple with purplish reflections. The nose, typical of Merlot, reveals seductive aromas of red and black fruits, such as blackcurrant and blueberry. Its aromatic palette, of great complexity, also reveals subtle notes of leather and spices. On the palate, the wine seduces with its elegance and the balance of its tannins, both present and silky. It goes well with game dishes, such as venison, as well as a roast leg of lamb or other red and white meats.
