Château Gaudin has been a family property since 1901, located in Pauillac in the Médoc. From 4 hectares at the time, thanks to 3 successive generations, the estate today has 11 hectares of fabulous vines whose average age is 40 years. Located on the gravelly hills of the village of Saint-Lambert in the commune of Pauillac and surrounded by prestigious vintage vineyards, this vineyard benefits from a completely privileged location.

Tasting

Fine, powerful and complex nose; red and black fruits then vanilla and leather, finally giving way to the aging notes (spices, liquorice, vanilla and oak). The fullness on the palate is impressive. The attack is supple and powerful at the same time, the substance is revealed little by little, it is deep, very fine, powerful and full-bodied at the same time, the tannins are of rare elegance while being firm, fine and with an inimitable grain. The finish is very long, the tannins blend into the substance which gains in voluptuousness and finesse...
