Comment

Since 1692, the date when ancestor François Dubois planted his first vines, ten generations have written the family adventure. Cor Bugeaud is a historic vintage in many respects. Long worn by the Dubois family, the wine owes its name to General Bugeaud, hero of the Napoleonic wars and governor of the citadel of Blaye. Tradition reports that armed with his horn, he came to hunt on the estate's land. Fermentation in thermoregulated vats, with gentle vatting for approximately 3 weeks. Regular pumping over to extract the maximum aromas and aging in cement and stainless steel vats for 1 year.

Tasting

Pretty intense purple color. A nose of red fruits: blackcurrant, raspberry and cherry. Smooth and dense palate with fine and balanced tannins. It is the ideal companion for grilled white or red meat and cheese.
