The Graves appellation is located in the Bordeaux wine region, south of the city, on the left bank of the Garonne. It extends over approximately 55 kilometers, between the commune of Bordeaux and that of Langon. The region is marked by its gravelly soils, composed of gravel, pebbles and sand deposited by the Garonne over the centuries, which explains the name "Graves". This geological diversity, combined with a temperate oceanic climate, provides a favorable setting for viticulture. The appellation covers a vast area including several communes, including Léognan, Pessac and Sauternes, each sub-region bringing its own nuances to the character of the terroir.

Tasting

This red wine from Graves offers a pleasant bouquet of red fruits, with notes of cherry and blackcurrant. On the palate, it is supple and light, with moderate tannins and a pleasant freshness. Its simple structure makes it an easy-drinking wine, ideal to accompany everyday meals. The finish is short but pleasant, marked by a fruity touch and a slight hint of spice. An accessible, unpretentious, but well-balanced wine.
