In 1962, around fifty winegrowers from the villages of Baroville, Fontaine and Arconville, in the Côte des Bar, decided to join forces and founded a wine cooperative to pool the pressing activity. The Barfontarc brand was born quickly, its name – a nod to its roots – is composed of the first syllables of the 3 original villages. Due to its cooperative status, the Maison de Barfontarc benefits from a rich and varied supply of grapes, offering numerous compositional possibilities during blending and guaranteeing vintages of consistent quality. Concerned about respecting and preserving the land, it has naturally adopted a sustainable viticulture method for many years.

Tasting

A gourmet and generous champagne. Light gold color with golden nuances. Very elegant nose reminiscent of white flowers, honey, vanilla and even quince. A gourmet palate, supported by aromas of pears and golden apples which highlight a honeyed finish. Héritage Demi-sec will be the perfect companion to your desserts and sweet moments, delicious as an accompaniment to a tarte Tatin or a citrus salad.
