Comment

The cooperative cellar Les Celliers d'Orfée, located in the heart of the Corbières vineyard, is a historic structure founded in 1933 and considered one of the pioneers of the wine cooperative movement in France. With a solid organization bringing together numerous winegrowers, it has established itself today as the most awarded cellar in Corbières with 75 distinctions obtained in 2025, testifying to the recognized quality of its wines. Its know-how is expressed in particular through prestigious appellations such as AOP Corbières and Corbières Boutenac, while being part of a sustainable approach with HVE3 certification and the development of an organic range. Combining tradition, innovation and qualitative standards, Les Celliers d’Orfée thus embody an essential reference in the Languedoc wine region. Merlot: Pre-fermentation maceration to extract the fruit and color, alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature. Aging in vats to preserve the aromatic expression of the grape variety and the freshness of the fruit.

Tasting

Deep red color with purplish reflections. The nose reveals aromas of ripe red and black fruits, dominated by cherry, raspberry and blackcurrant, with light spicy notes. On the palate, the attack is supple and round, the tannins are melted and silky, offering a beautiful delicacy and a fruity and harmonious finish. This wine will perfectly accompany your aperitifs. It can be served slightly chilled.
