Comment

The Médoc appellation is based on an exceptional terroir, shaped by the proximity of the Atlantic Ocean and the Gironde estuary, which temper temperature differences and limit the risk of frost. Its floors are mainly made up of serious (pebbles and gravel deposited by the Garonne over the centuries), offering optimal drainage and excellent heat retention, thus promoting a progressive maturation of the grapes. There are also clay-limestone basements, which bring freshness and structure to wines. This terroir allows the prevailing grape varieties, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, to express themselves fully, giving powerful red wines, complex and cut for the guard.

Tasting

A carpeted wine, generous who at tasting, offers a feeling of fullness. It has a beautiful aromatic palette that plays pleasantly on the liquorice and red and black fruits. With an excellent aging potential, it develops a bouquet with age that mixes animal touches, prune or cedar. Serve between 16 and 18 ° C.
