Aliança was founded in 1927, by 11 partners led by Domingos Silva and Ângelo Neves, in Sangalhos (Anadia county), in the Bairrada region. Represented in the main wine regions of Portugal, but also in 60 countries to which they export, the company has several estates and approximately 600 hectares of land in the following regions: Alentejo, Douro, Dão, Bairrada and Beiras, exploring approximately 600 hectares of vineyard. Aliança has won several awards, nationally and internationally, and in 2005, Wine Spectator ranked them among the top 20 wine companies in the sector worldwide, being the only winery from the Iberian Peninsula to be included.

Tasting

With a citrus color and green reflections, Aliança Vinho Verde has a very fruity nose. On the palate it is slightly acidic, which gives it freshness. The finish is slightly sweet. Ideal alone or with fish and seafood, white meats, light salads or pastas. Thanks to its freshness, it is particularly pleasant in informal environments.
